Christian Oyakhilome, who is also known as “Pastor Chris”, holds large meetings all over the world where he heals people with his faith. His television programs gather over 2.5 million people in a single night's event.
Pastor Chris started preaching from his youth, holding large miracle meetings during his secondary and tertiary school days. He started the Believer’s LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers' LoveWorld Inc.) when he was studying at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State. His grandfather was also a Minister.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry runs several arms, including the Healing School, Rhapsody of Realities (a daily devotional with global reach), and an NGO called the Innercity Missions, as well as three Christian television channels: LoveWorld TV, LoveWorld SAT and LoveWorld Plus.
His ministry expanded from Nigeria and South Africa to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, where he hosts the annual Higher Life conferences among others. He has a strong following, especially among youths.
He and his wife Anita Oyakhilome (the couple has two daughters) wrote the world's number one daily devotional, "Rhapsody of Realities," that was translated into 322 languages and distributed in 142 countries worldwide.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome runs a global prayer network using social network platforms to send messages to Christians around the world regularly. His Twitter account @PastorChrisLive has over 1.3 million followers, as well as his own social networking website called Yookos.
