Postgraduate studies

The UniAbuja admission requirements for postgraduate courses are:

Institute of Education (IOE)

This is popularly known as the sandwich programme. It is a part-time programme designed for teachers who have studied NCE to help them attain a degree.

This programme does not require Post UTME and JAMB qualifications. UniAbuja admission into the Institute of Education at the 100 level has the requirements given below:

  • Credit passes in five subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, at the ordinary level.
  • The student should have attained the grade in not more than two sittings.
  • Have achieved at least three credit passes in subjects relevant to the course they applied for.

Distance learning

The Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE) favours individuals who intend to obtain a degree while working. Admission to the CDL&CE degree courses does not require Post-UTME or JAMB qualifications.

The UniAbuja admission requirements into CDL&CE at the 100 level are:

  • Five credit passes in five subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, at the ordinary level.
  • Must have attained this grade in not more than two sittings.
  • Must have achieved three credit passes in subjects relevant to the course they are applying for.

To apply for admission, follow the steps below;

  • Visit the UniAbuja CDL student portal.
  • Fill your Biodata thus: (Surname, First name, Other names, Email, and Phone Number).

  • On the payment preview page, click on Generate RRR.
  • Click make payment and you will be redirected to the remita platform, enter your card details (Master Card or Visa Card).
  • When the payment is successful, you will be redirected to the portal and receive the application number.
  • You will be logged out and after clicking "Main Login", enter the generated application number and surname as your password to continue your application process.

How to register for UniAbuja Post-UTME

When the Post-UTME form is available, please follow the steps below to register.

  • Visit the UNIABUJA Portal and click on “click here to apply”.
  • Select undergraduate on the left side.
  • Enter your JAMB registration number and click on “get details”.
  • Fill in the required information page using a valid phone number and email address, then click next.
  • Pay the sum of N2000 for the screening.
  • On the payment review page, click on Generate RRR to proceed.
  • You will be redirected to the Remita payment page. Enter your credit or debit card details and submit.
  • Enter the OTP code sent to your phone and complete the payment.
  • After payment, log in using your JAMB registration number as the username and surname as the password.
  • Complete your registration and print the registration form and payment receipt.
