Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), founded on July 7, 1982, as Ogun State University and renamed in 2001 after Chief Olabisi Onabanjo, is a state-owned institution in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Known for affordable tuition, it has produced thousands of graduates and postgraduates. OOU operates multiple campuses: the Main Campus (Permanent Site) in Ago-Iwoye, Faculty of Agriculture in Aiyetoro, Engineering in Ibogun, and Medicine, Basic Medical Sciences, and Pharmacy in Shagamu. With a student population of 10,000-14,999, OOU offers diverse programs across faculties like Science, Law, and Social Sciences.
