The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja Chief Judge, Honourable Justice Ishaq Usman Bello has freed 70 prisoners from the popular Kuje correctional facility.
Federal government has announced that it will be freeing 2,600 inmates from various correctional centres across the country as part of a move to curb Covid-19.
As part of measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus, the government has directed the Nigerian Correctional Service to release all awaiting trial inmates.
