1. Davido's annual fund to orphanages and gift giving
Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is one of the highest givers among Nigerian celebrities.
For several years, the "Akwue" crooner has supported orphanages across Nigeria. His charitable efforts began in 2021 when he turned 29, asking friends for money, which he used to support orphanages nationwide.
In 2022, Davido offered a university scholarship to Morro Suleyman, a boy who scored straight A's in his WAEC exams. In November of the same year, he donated N300 million to orphanages nationwide for his 32nd birthday.
Additionally, the singer gave $5k (8 million Naira) to Ghanaian content creator Ananzoofficial for covering his song with Omah Lay. Recently, Davido gifted his driver a car worth N25 million. His logistics officer and many others have also received gifts from the music star.
2. Pastor Jerry Eze's generosity to widows
Pastor Jerry Eze, the convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), has also demonstrated immense generosity.
In 2024, Pastor Eze built 18 houses for widows across Nigeria and donated N100 million in grants to small business owners. That same year, he built and furnished a house for a widow in Ondo State.
For his wedding anniversary in 2025, Pastor Eze and his wife gave away 100 tricycles to individuals in need.
3. Obi Cubana's charitable acts to 50th birthday
In 2025, billionaire businessman Obi Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, celebrated his 50th birthday by gifting 50 tricycles and 50 vehicles to those in need.
He also gave away $1,000 and donated hair extensions at his lavish housewarming earlier that year.

Actress and brand influencer May Edochie has been a generous figure in Nigerian society.

For her recent birthday, she gave out scholarships worth N50 million and distributed bags of rice to attendees of her event. Despite her status as a single mother, May has continued to help others in her community.
5. VDM’s school renovations and road repairs
Social media activist Martin Vincent Otse, better known as VDM, has used his NGO to fund various charitable causes.
Recently, he renovated a school and shared before-and-after images showcasing the work done. He also donated N1.5 million to content creator Ashmusy and helped renovate a road in his community.
VDM has extended his generosity beyond Nigeria, funding a borehole project in Ghana and providing vocational training for four individuals.
6. Cubana Chiefpriest’s road construction and food donations
Businessman and musician Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chiefpriest, is another notable giver.
For his birthday, he distributed food items such as rice, noodles, and cooking oil to people in Owerri. He has also recently repaired a road in his hometown and encouraged others to take pride in their community.
7. Adekunle Gold's N250k donation and more
Afrobeat artist Adekunle Gold has shown appreciation for his blessings by giving back.
On X, he shared N250k each with five first-class graduates from different universities. He also stocked a noodle seller’s store with cartons of noodles as a gesture of support.
Through his Five-Star Care Initiative, Adekunle Gold has provided health insurance and covered medical fees for children with sickle cell disease.
8. Don Jazzy’s N100million donation
Music entrepreneur Michael Collins Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, has contributed millions to various causes.
In 2024, he donated N100 million to support VDM’s NGO. He also gave N1 million to a fan and topped it up with an additional N5 million after seeing the fan's account balance.
Don Jazzy has also partnered with Indrive to distribute iPhones, laptops, and cash gifts to Nigerian youths. Luxury influencer Ola of Lagos also received N20 million from him in 2024.

9. Wizkid’s N100million Christmas gift
Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, is another silent giver who has impacted many lives.
In 2023, he donated N100 million as a Christmas gift to people in Surulere in honor of his late mother, Morayo Balogun. He also gave N20 million to hypeman Money Gee and $20k to Odumodublvck for their contributions to his success.
10. Rema’s N105million donation to Christ Embassy
Singer Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, gave back to Christ Embassy in Sapele, the church that helped his family after his father passed away.
During his homecoming concert in Benin, Edo State, Rema donated N105 million to the congregation.
How Davido spent N927 million in a day
