Early Life and Education

Tekno Miles hails from Ivo Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, though he was born in Bauchi State. Due to his father's career in the Nigerian Army, his family relocated frequently, exposing him to various cultures across Nigeria, including in Nasarawa State, Kaduna, and Abuja. At the age of eight, Tekno was enrolled in a music school, where he developed proficiency in playing the piano and guitar, laying the foundation for his future musical endeavors.

Career

Tekno began his professional music career under K-Money Entertainment, releasing his debut single "Holiday," which featured vocals from Davido and gained significant airplay.

In 2012, he was discovered by Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu at an event in Abuja after performing "Onye Ne Kwu," his remix of Ice Prince's "Oleku." At the same event, he met Iyanya and Ubi Franklin, the manager of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), who encouraged him to move to Lagos to further his music career.

On October 5, 2013, Tekno signed a recording contract with MMMG, under which he released singles like "Dance" and "Anything." These singles earned him a nomination in the "Best New Act of the Year" category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

In June 2015, he released the hit single "Duro," produced by DJ Coublon, which received positive reviews and massive airplay.

Tekno has since released several successful singles, including "Pana," "Yawa," "Rara," and "Skeletun," and has collaborated with various artists across Africa.
