Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi has built back famous Nigerian gospel singer Yinka Ayefele’s music house which the government demolished in 2018 and the singer has taken to social media to thank him. Read more.
The Oyo state government said the decision to help Ayefele rebuild his studio was informed by the musician appeal to the state government as well as his admittance of breach of procedures in the construction of the building.
After kings and traditional chiefs were brought in to put an end to the dispute between Governor Abiola Ajimobi and Evangelist Yinka Ayefele, the governor has promised to help rebuild his Music House which was partly demolished.
Following the demolition of a multi-million naira building in Ibadan tagged ‘Music House’ belonging to Yinka Ayefele, the popular singer has met with the governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi, on Friday, August 24.
Ayefele disclosed that he was hospitalised for five days when he received the notice that his Music House building housing his Fresh FM in Ibadan would be demolished. He said he was on hospital bed from August 14 till August 18.
The Oyo state government has denied demolishing the music house of gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele, in Ibadan. Yinka Ayefele's music house was on Sunday, August 19, demolished by the suspected government agents.
