Ibikunle Amosun

Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Tuesday, March 5, reinstated the chairman of Ogun branch of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Akeem Ambali, into the state’s civil service after his sack in October, 2016.

The workers who were in their thousands, booed Amosun, calling him names for alleged hostile disposition towards their colleagues in the state as the incident reportedly led to the governor hurriedly adjourning his meeting.

The Movement for Yewa/Awori for Governor (MOYAG) has described the suspension of Ogun state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the end of the party in the state.

About 48 hours after he and Rochas Okorocha of Imo state were suspended by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state, has met with President Muhammadu Buhari.
