Sunny Ade and Fuji singer King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall aka, KWAM 1, were the two artistes who performed at the 80th birthday celebration and biography book launch of business mogul, Olatunde Badmus, which had the Ooni of Ife as one of the prominent guests.

Amid the series of videos from the event that was shared online, a clip of Sunny Ade with the Ooni stood out as it captured the legendary musician and the celebrant displaying deep traditional reverence for the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
The short clip captured the moment Sunny Ade approached the Ooni, who was seated while exchanging pleasantries with the celebrant.
Upon sighting Sunny Ade, who had removed his hat as he bowed to the Ooni, the traditional ruler helped the legendary musician rise, holding his hands as they engaged in a warm conversation, who bowed repeatedly as they exchanged pleasantries.

According to Tribune Online, the event took place in Osogbo, Osun state, with the likes of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Governor Ademola Adeleke in attendance.
