Osun State, Nigeria
Osun State is located in the southwestern region of Nigeria and is bounded by Kwara State to the northeast, Ekiti and Ondo States to the east, Ogun State to the south, and Oyo State to the west and northwest. The state was created on August 27, 1991, from the eastern part of Oyo State.
