The vice-chancellor of University, Professor Ibrahim Garba who informed correspondents on the last achievement, declared: ‘We have plans to increase the number of the students allowed in the organization. The number of students can be increased from 6,000 to 50,000 for the next 10 years. Foundation of the center of distance training is a part of this plan. It solves a problem of shortage of places by means of implementation of distance training.’
The director of the Center of Distance training of ABU noted that students can have an access to programs of electronic training worldwide.
He told: ‘The center of Distance training of ABU aims to provide the practical problem resolution of access to quality higher education in the country. Now students can have an access to quality education of ABU without restrictions worldwide. Students will receive the same certificate as well as students on campus. The fact that they underwent distance training won't be declared in their certificates. The diploma of ABU is admissible for all appropriate programs for getting the degree in ABU and other organizations.’
