The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday, August 19 ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remove the name of Uche Nwosu as a governorship candidate in the last election held in Imo.
Senator Rochas Okorocha has warned the Emeka Ihedioha-led government of Imo to stop attacking his properties in the state saying his silence should not be taken for granted.
Rochas Okorocha, immediate past governor of Imo, on Sunday, August 18, warned his successor’s administration to stop further attacks on his personal property in the state.
Some notable political leaders in the country who attended the event, also praised the rich cultural heritage in Imo state, insisting that one cannot be divorced from the culture and tradition of his land.
Residents who spoke to journalists expressed displeasure over the development, noting how detrimental the action of the current government is to the progress of the state.
