This summer, Barclays Premier League players went on a well-deserved break after the fantastic show which was last season. However, the rest from the EPL will not last long, and soon all the football fans will be able to experience another emotional roller coaster, which is EPL 2019/20 season. The race for the title promises to be very heated, with famous clubs and a couple of underdogs aiming for the desired Premier League trophy!

So, when will the teams kick off the tournament and start their fantastic way to the top? Who will be crowned winners, and who will lose? While the second question will only be answered at the end of the season, we do know the answer to the first one.

When does the new season of the EPL start?

Good news for fans who are unable to satisfy their craving for English football: you will not have to wait for a long time! It has been confirmed that the new season of the EPL starts on August 9th, 2019. The opening game of the year will be Liverpool, the new Champions League winners, playing against Norwich City. The match will take place at 8 pm (GMT +1, local time in the UK)

Please note that the times for EPL fixtures might change depending on the situation. If you want to know when the particular match takes place, you can Google it (e.g. "Liverpool - Norwich City") and see when it starts according to your local time.
