Governor of Imo State (2011–2019): Elected under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2011, Okorocha later joined the APC in 2013. His tenure was marked by significant infrastructural projects and educational initiatives.
Senator for Imo West (2019–2023): After his governorship, he served as a senator, representing the Imo West senatorial district.

Education and Early Life
Born into a humble family, Okorocha spent his early years in Jos, Plateau State. He attended Juladaco High School in Jos from 1976 to 1981. He later obtained a diploma and an advanced diploma in Public Administration from the University of Jos.
