2023: Incredible Crowd As PDP Senatorial Aspirant Takes Campaign To Streets, Shares Video

Dino Melaye, a former senator who represented Kogi West Senatorial District is not joking about his ambition to return as a Nigerian federal lawmaker.

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Melaye has started active campaigns which he propagates through social media posts.

Melaye on Monday, December 6, shared a video of himself in the streets of Kogi where he was greeted with massive audible support from a mammoth crowd of supporters and loyalists.

In the clip, the former senator was seen guarded by security officials as he walked majestically wearing a graduation gown.

Massive congratulations as Dino Melaye bags law degree, graduation photos emerge

Meanwhile, Melaye had added a law degree to his portfolio. According to an Instagram post shared by Melaye on Saturday, October 23, the controversial ex-lawmaker confirmed his LLB certificate from Baze University, Abuja.

This development came four months after he allegedly bagged a Master's degree in Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja. The ex-lawmaker took to his verified Facebook page on Wednesday evening, July 14, to celebrate the new milestone.

The statement of result dated 26th of November 2019 was signed by the university's deputy registrar (academic), Alkasim M. Umar.

Nigerians react

The news had generated mixed reactions as some Nigerians congratulates him while others wonder if the degree is legit.
