Telegram founder Pavel Durov faced questioning by investigating magistrates in Paris on Monday about the platform's alleged complicity in criminal activity, sources close to the case said. Arriving at the Paris courthouse on Monday morning, the Russian-born entrepreneur faced his third round of questioning since being charged with multiple infractions linked to enabling organised crime.

The European Union accused Chinese-founded online shopping giant Temu on Monday of breaking the bloc's digital rules by not "properly" assessing the risks of illegal products. "Evidence showed that there is a high risk for consumers in the EU to encounter illegal products on the platform," the European Commission said in its preliminary finding.
