The National Union of Electricity Employees has announced plans to join the ongoing nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress, the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

Ahead of the planned workers strike, the Labour Party has expressed support for any legitimate means deployed by the NLC to press for better remuneration.
All things being equal, the NLC and the TUC will embark on a strike. Legit.ng understands that the industrial action will start on October 3, 2023.
