Ronaldo Still Stuck in Saudi Arabia Amid Reports Private Jet Has Left Following Middle East Violence

Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted at Al Nassr training ground on Tuesday, March 3, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Iran launched retaliatory strikes following attacks by Israel and the United States, with thousands reportedly fleeing the region.

Flight-tracking data showed that the aircraft belonging to the former Juventus FC star took off from Saudi Arabia at around 8pm on Monday and landed in the Spanish capital at approximately 1am.

The jet travelled west over Egypt and the Mediterranean before touching down in Spain, where the 41-year-old previously played for Real Madrid, according to One Football.

While commercial flights in the region have been grounded due to the conflict, the Portuguese international, who plays for Al Nassr FC in Riyadh, owns a Bombardier Global Express 6500 private jet.

Al Nassr confirms Ronaldo's location

Al Nassr has debunked reports suggesting Cristiano Ronaldo left Saudi Arabia on Monday.

In an Instagram post, the club posted the Portuguese legend at the House of Nassr, alongside his teammates and coaches.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has lived in the Saudi capital since joining Al Nassr from Manchester United in December 2022, reportedly earning £488,000 per day.

He is currently sidelined with injury after being forced off during Al Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al Fayha FC on Saturday and is not expected to feature in their next fixture.

The club’s AFC Champions League quarter-final clash away to Al Wasl, originally scheduled for Wednesday, was postponed on Monday because of the conflict.

The Portuguese star further strengthened his air logistics by acquiring a Global Express 6500, valued at £61 million, after parting ways with his previous Gulfstream G200.

The new model offers intercontinental range and a high-end luxury configuration, including a bedroom with a double bed and a separate shower, ideal for transporting his family quickly and privately in emergency situations.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning following fresh Iranian drone strikes on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, vowing that Washington’s response will be unveiled soon, per BBC.
