"Tinubu, this is what The Lord said 'stop borrowing money, the economy will sink'. Use the national resources that we have for money. Partner with states who have mineral resources. It will help. Take the mineral resources to China; to places where they need it to money.
"By the time you borrow another money, the Nigerian economy will scatter. This is a warning from The Lord."

On state police, Primate Ayodele advised President Tinubu not to consider it, as according to the cleric, Nigeria is not mature for such arrangement.

His words:

"State police is good, but the management would be bad. Nigeria cannot handle state police. Tinubu, don't try the state police now. It is a good thing, good concept, but you will not succeed because there would be conflict of interest. We are not matured for state police. It is a warning."

He added:

“The Nigerian government must not sign anything with America. Don’t try it, we will regret it. Tinubu don’t try it. Don’t sign any pact with the American government, they would not help you. Instead, they are going to whip you.”
