The APC chieftain described the action of a select few from Anambra Central as grand deception similar to the 'Yahoo game', aimed at preventing Soludo from seeing the defeat staring him in the face.
Legit.ng gathered that on Saturday, July 26, the newly renovated Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, was filled up during an endorsement rally organised by stakeholders and support groups in Anambra Central for Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Scores of support groups and political stakeholders in the senatorial zone affirmed their support for the second-term bid of Soludo.
The rally in Awka was the second major endorsement for the governor, following a similar event in Otuocha, Anambra East local government area, where stakeholders from Anambra North senatorial zone declared support for his re-election.
The stakeholders, including the chairman, Planning Committee, Chief Dozie Nwankwo, former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, former PDP chieftain, Okey Muo Aroh, said their endorsement of Soludo for a second term was based on his performance in office and his broad vision to make Anambra a destination of choice.
They promised to go back to their wards, mobilise voters and ensure that the governor is re-elected come November 8, 2025.
The deputy speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwuma Okoye, read a communique on behalf of the Anambra Central senatorial district, formally endorsing Soludo’s candidacy and affirming the zone’s commitment to upholding the arrangement for fairness, equity and peaceful co-existence.
In an interview with Legit.ng, the zonal publicity secretary of the party in Anambra Central senatorial district, Igboeli Arinze, described the endorsement of Governor Chukwuma Soludo by Anambra Central stakeholders as an effort laden with falsehood and similar to the Yahoo Yahoo game.
Arinze questions Soludo's achievement in Anambra
He questions Soludo's administrative achievements, saying
"What has Soludo done for the zone that would warrant any politician or person worthy of being called a son of the zone to endorse him for another tenure after four years of nothing but sugar candy land projects with no immediate or future benefit to the average Anambra residents.
"How could such failed politicians think they could pull wool over the eyes of the people and arrive at such endorsement?" Arinze stated.
“I speak as a true son of Anambra Central at home, feeling the political pulse of our people. So, I can categorically assert that what transpired on Saturday, July 26, at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, in the name of endorsing the outgoing governor of Anambra, remains fraudulent, and it is akin to political yahoo yahoo." He added
"One wonders what Chukwuma Soludo's achievements in the zone are to have warranted such endorsement.
"What has changed in Awka or Abagana? What impact has the Soludo administration had on Neni, Ojoto and Ogidi? Has the Human Development Index changed for the better under this government? Has the security of lives and property improved?” He lamented
Arinze slammed Soludo's failure to present scorecards
The APC chieftain expressed that the rally was born out of the fear of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu/ Senator Uche Ekwunife's joint ticket, which he said would oust Soludo's administration.
He noted that Governor Soludo had failed to present his scorecards at the rally, saying that the governor had nothing to show.
“Rather than present his achievements to the rented crowd, the governor only dwelt on the importance of zoning in Anambra.
"At a time that Anambra residents are struggling with insecurity, poor infrastructure and unemployment, Soludo is hanging his return on what he called 8 is better than 4. But come November 8, 2025, our people will send him the right message," he concluded
