“Because this government came in on a prospect of massive propaganda running down the PDP that did a lot for this country, therefore, you have the duty to educate Nigerians that eight more years of this government will cause complete disaster for the country.
“It will lead to the breakup of this country and everything should be done to educate Nigerian to democratically remove this government because they are the biggest cancer affecting Nigeria today at every level."
APC governors are the worst - Ayu
The PDP chieftain further claimed that governors elected on the platform of the APC "are the worst in this country".
Making apparent reference to Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state who doubles as the APC's caretaker chairman, Ayu said:
"How can a governor leave his state for years and stay in Abuja because he is the national chairman of the political party? Who is governing your state? That is how unserious they are."
2023: It will be a mistake to return PDP to power, VON DG Okechukwu warns
Meanwhile, the director-general of the Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu, has said Nigerians will be making a big mistake if they vote the PDP back to power.
The APC chieftain explained that the opposition party cannot be trusted to rescue Nigeria because promoters of the party have an incurable appetite for corruption and a history of mismanaging the economy.
Okechukwu made this statement during an interview in Abuja on Sunday, November 28.
