A lady, Ajibade Maryam, has narrated how she helped her boyfriend find a wife as her 'harmless' gesture during their date would cost her relationship months later.
In a trending video shared on TikTok, Maryam recounted how she was on a date with her man when he spotted a pretty lady.

“Maryam, don’t you see this girl is fine?” her boyfriend jokingly said.
In a bid to play the good girlfriend Maryam approached the lady and convinced her to release her phone number, under the guise that her brother said he likes her and needed it.
"Me too, I replied, "Should I collect her number for you?"
"He said yes and me too I went ahead to collect the girl's number and I was like, "My brother said he likes you and he wants to collect your number."
"And this lady did not want to give me the number o, but me, I was now like trying to be the good girlfriend...." she recalled.
Maryam thought the banter and joke all ended there, unknown to her that her boyfriend secretly began seeing the lady while they were in a relationship.
Months later, she found out her man was not only getting married to the lady, but she was pregnant for him.
