A Nigerian pepper seller has detailed her recent experience with a customer who could not pay for items purchased due to bank-related issues.
In a now-viral TikTok video, the lady said the customer had come to the market to make purchases and bought pepper from her.

Pepper seller rewarded for act of kindness
The lady said the customer also needed onions, which he bought from a nearby store.
According to her, he tried to make a transfer several times in her presence but was not successful due to issues with his banking app.

Meanwhile, the lady told him:
“No problem, Oga. You can take the tomatoes and go. When next you come to the market, you can come to make payment to me; I’ll give the person selling onions her money.”
In a post she shared on her page, @agbekealataigbalode, on the popular social media platform TikTok, she detailed her experience. She explained that the man requested her number, and when he got it, he texted her asking for her account details.
She shared her account number, and to her surprise, he sent her a huge amount of money.
“I’m just happy. Someone came to me now to buy tomatoes and pepper, and he bought onions for 300. He said he would transfer for me and was trying countless times. It wasn’t going through, and I could see he was stranded.”
