A young boy's casual attempt to capture planes landing near his home turned into a traumatic experience when he unintentionally recorded the devastating crash of Air India Flight 171 on June 12.
The clip, which has since gone viral on social media, showed the plane struggling to stay on air before crashing down to the ground in a fiery explosion.

Boy who recorded Air India plane crash speaks
The boy, identified as Aryan Asari, shared his account of the incident in a video posted by @TimesAljebraND on X.
According to Aryan, he was on the terrace of his three-storey building, watching the planes flying overhead, and decided to make a video for his friends.
He began recording what he thought was a normal landing but suddenly, one of the planes went down.
"I came here on June 12, and saw the plane flying very low, so I started recording to show my friends. I thought it was going to land because the airport was close. But suddenly, the plane went down, and then flames burst out, that’s when we realized it had exploded," he lamented.

The traumatic experience has left Aryan struggling to cope, and he vowed never to set foot on an aeroplane again.
The clip captured by Aryan has become a crucial piece of evidence for investigators trying to determine the cause of the crash.
It captured a close-up view of the plane's desperate struggle to stay airborne before crashing in a massive fireball.
