Speaking to a trusted Kenyan news media Tuko, the mother of one said she gifted her house girl cash, a smartphone and another feature phone for her mum along with a handbag so that she would not go home for Christmas empty-handed.

"She is just an employee like any other person. Like taking good care of my daughter every day is not an easy job plus the house and I thought because she is going home, a little token is everything," she said.
Her nanny, identified as Nancy could not hide her joy as she received the gifts from her which were beautifully displayed on a chart that had a lovely message.
"Dear Nancy, thank you for taking good care of Herra in 2021. You are a blessing to us and we love you. From Mama Herra," the heartwarming message read.
The cash displayed on the chart amounted to KSh 15,000 (N54k).
"Even people working in big companies get little tokens at the end of the year. It's the little things that count in life," the lovely lady told Tuko.
