Breaking: Bloodbath in Kaduna As Bandits Shoot 50 People Dead, Kidnap Unspecified Number
- Bandits have killed about 50 people in Giwa local government area of Kaduna state according to reports

In another bad news for Nigerians, bandits have killed about fifty people when they attacked nine communities in Giwa local government area of Kaduna state.
Also, unspecified number of persons were abducted when the criminals attacked, Daily trust reports.
The invasion was confirmed by ASP Mohammed Jalinge, Police Public Relations Officer in the state.
He also said the command is yet to compile the actual number of deaths recorded during the invasion.

“We are still waiting for the full details of the incident from the Divisional Police Officer, Giwa and the Area Commander Zaria,” he said.
Speaking to Daily Trust, a member of Vigilante Group in Dillalai area, Mansur Ibrahim, said the bandits also burnt houses and vehicles, motorcycles and rustled away over 100 cows.
“The villages affected were Dillalai, Zango Tama, Kaya, Barebari, Anguwan Bakko, Gidan Alhajin Kida, Kadanya and Durumi among others.”
“Dillalai was worst hit by the attack where about 15 people were reported to be killed, with five commercial trucks and five houses burnt.
“The bandits also burnt a church at Zangon Tama village, all in Giwa local government area."
Ibrahim said some of the victims who sustained gunshot injuries were receiving treatment at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Shika-Zaria.
Northern group fumes, asks Buhari to sack service chiefs over rising insecurity
The Northern Advocacy for Peace (NAP) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately sack the service chiefs over the resurgence of bandits attacks on communities in the northeast and northwest, and parts of the southeast region of the country.
In the past two weeks, terrorists and bandits have continued to attack communities in Kebbi, Niger Sokoto, Zamfara, Kaduna and Imo states leading to the death of uncountable unarmed civilians.
Ambassador Khalifa Shuaibu, the president of NAP said in a statement sent to Legit.ng:
“These fews weeks have witnessed killings of innocent Nigerians by terrorists, bandits and criminal elements, unabated.
Insecurity: Niger state government reviews security architecture
Meanwhile, following the recent attacks in some communities in Munya local government area by terrorists, the Niger state government says it is reviewing the security architecture of the area to allow for more presence of security personnel in the areas.
Commissioner Umar disclosed this at the Government House, Minna while briefing journalists on security updates at the instance of Governor Bello.
Umar said terrorists recently attacked Chibani, Fuka, Dandaudu, and other adjoining communities in Munya local government area where some people were killed, and others kidnapped.
