Nollywood actress and filmmaker Peggy Ovire has given fans a glimpse into a difficult period she recently experienced while juggling work and an undisclosed health challenge.

The actress revealed that she had been battling fever and a severe cold after wrapping up what she described as the most draining production of her career.

According to Peggy, the demanding project left her physically exhausted, with her body desperately needing rest.

She said she had told her colleague, Omeche Oko, that she was unwell and all she wanted was to sleep and recover.

But unknown to Peggy, her colleague was quietly preparing something special for her.

Peggy explained that Omeche had consistently checked on her throughout the production, asking about the progress of the project and when filming would end.

Interestingly, Omeche also asked Peggy seemingly random questions, including her favourite colour.

Peggy said she answered without suspecting that the questions were part of a surprise being planned for her.

After she thought her stressful day had finally ended, Omeche presented her with beautiful gifts.

The actress admitted that the gesture touched her deeply, particularly because she was dealing with exhaustion and illness.

Sharing her appreciation on social media, Peggy described Omeche as her "love" and expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.

She wrote:

"I told her I wasn’t feeling well and that, honestly, all I wanted was to sleep and recover. Then tonight, just when I thought the day was finally over, she gave me these beautiful gifts. It isn’t even my birthday."
