Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma has said that the IPOB's sit-at-home order was obeyed only on social media, noting that the entire Igbo nation was excited.

The federal government has said that any group or persons planning to disrupt the conduct of the Anambra governorship election, would be seriously dealt with.
