Saraki Storms Southwest State as Anti-Tinubu Faction Dumps APC for PDP, Photos, Video Emerge

Lagos - A faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the aegis of the Lagos4Lagos under the leadership of Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor have dumped the ruling party.

Daily Trust reports that the group on Saturday, December 4, formally defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state.

The Lagos4Lagos movement who has been having a running battle with the APC leadership in the southwest state was reeceived by Bukola Saraki.

The former Senate President shared videos from the ceremony on his social media pages where Jandor led his members from the 20 local governments of the state to the PDP.

Saraki while receiving the new PDP members assured them that they are moving to the party that would rescue Nigeria, Lagos state and change the fortune of Nigeria.

Ikedi Ohakim: Former governor of Imo defects to APC, gives reason

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a former governor of Imo, Ikedi Ohakim, finally joined the ruling APC in Imo state.

Ohakim joined the APC on Tuesday, July 27, at his hometown in Okohia in Isiala Mbano local government area of the state where he received the party's flag from the chairman, Marcellenus Nlemigbo.

The former governor said he made the decision in the interest of the people because they are his first choice.

Meanwhile, the battle ahead of 2023 in Cross River is gathering momentum as the former PDP state chairman and APC former governorship candidate, Ntufam Ekpo Okon, and thousands of supporters have dumped the party for rival PDP.

Others to join include the former deputy speaker, Hon Dominic Edem, Hon Wilson Ekpeyong, representing Bakassi state and Odukpani state constituencies respectively and Bassey O. Bassey, Esq.

The trio of Okon, Edem and Ekpenyong were all staunch members of PDP and they defected to APC between 2015 and 2019, The Sun reported. Read more:
