Her post, shared on her TikTok account, revealed how the unexpected incident in the early hours left her scared for her safety.

Lady shares scary 1 am encounter

The lady, known on TikTok as @nuellasantos, explained that she and her friends had checked into an undisclosed hotel.

According to her, they were all in their designated room when someone they did not know approached and began knocking on their door.

She said it occurred around one in the morning. The visitor requested that they open the door and come outside.

She noted that immediately the request was made, a sudden sense of fear overwhelmed her.

The video showed her inquiring to know who the person was, but the person refused to be identified.

She captioned the video:

"POV: Me and my friends lodged in a hotel and a stranger came and knocked on our door by 1am asking us to open the door and come outside. Omo na once fear enter my body. Omor we later called the security shaa."

Commenting on the story, Dominic, a former hotel worker, said it would be absurd to hear a knock at such an hour unless the guest had called room service.

He said:

"That's not normal unless the person called room service. Hotel workers don't knock on people's rooms just like that. People should be careful."
