Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has displayed her 1982 kindergarten report card following her recent visit to the teacher's abode in Nsukka, Enugu state.
During her visit, the 47-year-old deeply appreciated her then teacher, Raphael Idoko, whom she describes as a great blessing that came into her life.

Chimamanda, in an Instagram post, recounted how happy she felt in his class, and how deeply patient and kind he was back then.
"Apart from telling me he prefers ‘Ngozi’ to ‘Chimamanda,’ he also said he remembers how often I ‘took over’ the class even before he started the day’s teaching!" she wrote about her aged class teacher.
In the report card she shared, her class teacher said she was good in class, but refuses to do any work when angry. His remark read:
"Ngozi is good in class.
"She refuses to do any work when she is annoyed."
People were amused by the teacher's remark on the report card.

Teacher's remark on girl's report card trends
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that a teacher's remark on the report card of a girl who came 18th in class had gone viral.
According to the report card, the teacher wrote that the girl had a calm character but a lazy attitude.
