Social media users have reacted to a new video of some passengers sighting smoke from the Air India crash while heading to a different aeroplane.

"...Air India has set up a dedicated passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 for information regarding the same," The Times of India wrote on Facebook while sharing the clip.

The 24-second clip showed two men walking past a glass when they noticed thick smoke and stopped briefly to take a look.

The Times of India noted that the thick smoke was from the Air India crash, which claimed 241 lives.

The news outlet reported that the people who saw the smoke were boarding a different aircraft at the time.

Clip of Air India passengers before crash

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that an emerging video had shown passengers on an Air India aeroplane before the tragic crash.

The 37-second clip started with an elderly man placing items inside an overhead compartment. The unidentified recorder of the clip panned the camera around to show other passengers in their seats.

Some people in the aeroplane could be seen still standing. The recording concluded with a woman doing a video selfie without uttering a word. Social media users reacted to the clip.
