"If he’s open minded , trust me in 3 months he’d have know numerals, nouns , basic pronouns and monetary conversations . In that school there’d be at least one boy who’d have been to kaduna ( that will make him understand English ) and that will be his tutor."

"Same situation I found myself while serving in Baptist Middle School II, Ede, Osun State. From our orientation, when we resumed, we were advised to quickly learn as much as possible in Yoruba to communicate effectively."

"Corpers posted to rural areas,be it southern or Northern Nigeria have stories to tell. These students both in their community and back home converse more in their mother’s tongue, they only speak English in school and this makes it difficult for them to read and write in English."
