Building luxurious houses in the village is seen as dead capital in some quarters.
However, people who built magnificent houses in the village protested against that opinion, arguing that the homes were used for other things, such as family holiday spots or retirement.
See God, exclaims Carson
They went a step further to showcase their homes. While posting his house, Carson said:
"The owners of dead capital. Representing seme republic, Kisumu city," he said.
Carson built himself the mansion two years after he gifted his elderly mother a new house on her 55th birthday and a year since he gifted his lover a new car on her birthday.
"See God! This is my 35th birthday gift. Welcome to my humble retirement/holiday hacienda," he captioned several photos of the palatial home.
