A Nigerian lady residing abroad has been left disappointed by a shocking discovery she made on returning to her home country.

Instagram media outfit @gossipmilltv reported that the unidentified lady had been sending millions of naira home while abroad to build her own house.

She reportedly kept on sending money after being satisfied with the reports the handler of the building project was always giving her.

The abroad returnee was shortchanged

However, the lady would return from abroad to discover she was misled and shortchanged.

Far from what the project handler told her, the lady lamented its state while carrying an on-the-ground assessment of the place.

She could be overheard in a video from her visit to the site asking rhetorically where the aluminium she was told of was kept.

Man returns from abroad to find out someone else is building a 4-bedroom house on his land

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a man had returned home from abroad to discover someone else building a house on his land.

Evidently, the unknown individual took advantage of his absence and not only took ownership of the property but also went ahead to start developing it.

"Some wise guy has started and is almost completing building a four bedroomed house. The land is jointly in our name spouse and me. What would you do?" he wrote in a social media post.
