A touching video has emerged in which a 73-year-old woman was seen shedding tears of joy after she was gifted $20,000 by a stranger. The elderly woman was seen roaming the streets without a place to lay her head.

The woman was said to have lost her home to a storm that rocked her area. Her story has now changed after she got the surprise donation.

She just wants a place to live

When the elderly woman was asked what her biggest dream was, she simply said:

"A place to live. I just want a place where I can go and don't have to worry about moving again."

The good samaritan could be heard saying in the video:

"I would like to go ahead and commit $20,000 for you."

That announcement made the elderly woman burst into uncontrollable tears of joy as the prospect and possibility of moving into a new home suddenly opens to her.
