Zamfara state - Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, said God will shame those sponsoring banditry and killings in the state.
Lawal urged Zamfara residents to continue to pray for God to put an end to all forms of criminality.

The governor stated this on Wednesday, August 13, 20225, when he visited communities attacked by bandits in the Kauran Namoda local government area.
As reported by Daily Trust, bandits attacked 5 communities —Banga, Sakajiki, Kuryar Madaro, Maguru, and Tambarawa.
The affected communities have witnessed a disturbing rise in bandit attacks, leaving many residents devastated and mourning the loss of loved ones.
Governor Lawal condemned the senseless killings during the recent wave of bandit attacks.
He vowed that those behind the violence would be exposed and shamed by divine intervention.
“May Allah expose and shame those responsible for these brutal attacks and senseless killings. I urge everyone to stay steadfast in prayer for an end to all forms of criminality in our dear state.”
Governor Lawal disclosed that he was out of the state when the most recent attack occurred.
He explained that he immediately instructed the Deputy Governor to lead a high-powered delegation to sympathize with the victims.
Lawal condemned the ongoing violence, describing the attackers as enemies of peace who deliberately aim to instill fear and destabilize the region.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor also reiterated his administration’s commitment to ending insecurity.
He pledged to intensify the fight against banditry with renewed strategies and partnerships.
Women lead protest in Zamfara over bandit attacks
Recall that hundreds of women from Jimrawa village in Zamfara State marched peacefully to Gusau, demanding urgent action over worsening insecurity.
The protest follows a wave of deadly bandit attacks that have left dozens dead, villages deserted, and residents in captivity.
Locals say poor road conditions and government inaction are fuelling the crisis, with farming halted and lives shattered across affected communities.

Bandits attack Zamfara village, kill 4, abduct 150
In a similar story, Legit.ng reported that on Sunday, July 14, bandits attacked Dan Isa village in Zamfara state, killing four people and kidnapping 150 others, including two infants.
