Currently trending on social media are photos of a Nigerian couple who recently celebrated their wedding anniversary in a rather peculiar fashion, and it has left tongues wagging.
Most times when people celebrate their wedding anniversary via photoshoots, the themes often follow happy and cheerful vibes.

However, this is not the case with a Nigerian couple who recently marked their fifth wedding anniversary.
The husband who is a photographer took to his business page to share some photos in which they are sporting orange prison jumpsuits, looking forlorn.
In both their hands are placards carrying the writeups 'Sentenced to life' and 5 years served'.

Sharing the photos, the husband accompanied the post with a message:
"Not every time a perfect Picture representing Marriage with all the glitz and glam of a well-tailored suit and gown or some elegant Native Attire... The truth is sometimes we all feel like we traded our freedom and we are locked up in it...... Marriage will shock you when it reveals who you've been locked up with sometimes... But that's the beauty... what do you do when u are doing it for life.. I guess you eventually get used to it, learn to love the little things that mean a lot to you and do all it takes to enjoy every of the rest of that moment. Especially if you have a partner that is willing to do life with you."

The beautiful thing about prewedding photoshoots is that couples have the sole power to make it their own, directing the creativity in whatever direction they feel.
While some people go out of their way to ensure they get the perfect prewedding shoot by dressing up in elaborate outfits, others go for the simple option of casual wear.
This story, however, is different as the couple rocked neither of these two in their prewedding shoot.
