Well, Shahida, the daughter of Senator Kabiru Gaya, most certainly fell in love with the popular wedding entrance scene from the movie so much that she had it recreated on her own big day.,
In a Tiktok video that has since gone viral on social media, Shahida is seen slowly walking down the watery aisle towards her groom who then helps get her train out of the water as she steps out.

The wedding scene in Crazy Rich Asians
Speaking with theknotnews.com, the director of Crazy Rich Asians, Jon M, who revealed the wedding set was built in 36 hours, explained that it was not easy achieving the breathtaking picturisque look.
In his words:
"We only had 36 hours to shoot whatever we wanted to do inside. The challenges also aplenty. “By adding water to the aisle was complicated, and by adding the grass that you can’t move around in was much more complicated than expected,” Chu continues. “We had crew stuffed into a small space… And we had pews trapping us in.”
