Dangote Group Announces 60 New Job Vacancies, SSCE, OND Holders Can Apply

The Dangote Group, one of Africa’s largest industrial conglomerates, is inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for 60 new job openings across its operations.

The available positions span corporate, technical, engineering, and operational roles across its cement, food, sugar and other business units.

Dangote Group: Requirements and how to apply

Requirements to qualify for the role are dependent on the job applied.

For example, security officers only need to OND, HND, SSCE or equivalent education to apply.

Interested and qualified candidates are expected to visit the Dangote Group careers portal to view detailed job descriptions and submit applications for their preferred positions.

Dangote warns against falling victims to scam

Meanwhile, the Dangote Group has issued a warning to job seekers about rising incidents of fraudsters impersonating its human resources staff on LinkedIn and other platforms to demand payment for job applications and recruitment processing.

In a notice shared on X, the Dangote group said it does not request, solicit, or accept any form of payment from job applicants at any stage of the recruitment process.

"All legitimate vacancies are advertised only through our official channels, including our careers portal at https://careers.dangote.com.
"Our recruitment process is merit-based and entirely free of charge.
"If you receive any suspicious communication claiming to be from Dangote Group HR and requesting payment, do not respond or share personal information.
"Your safety is important to us, and we remain committed to transparent, fair, and ethical recruitment practices."

Dangote Refinery to become world’s 6th largest

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Africa’s largest oil refinery, the $20 billion Dangote Petroleum Refinery, would become the sixth-largest refinery globally.

The refinery located in Lekki is currently going through a modification process to upgrade it from 650,000 barrels per day to 700,000 barrels per day by the end of 2025.

Work on key refining units, particularly the Residual Fluid Catalytic Cracker (RFCC) is already nearing completion.
