Popular Nollywood filmmaker, Yomi Fabiyi has weighed in on colleague, Baba Ijesha's case of defilement.

It was earlier reported that the Yoruba actor was caught on camera defiling a 14-year-old girl and that he had been committing the crime since the girl was 7-years-old.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, Fabiyi stated that there is no dignity in fighting someone who is already on the floor.

He made the statement with respect to some of his colleagues who according to him, come out to cast aspersions on a fallen man because they believe nobody can do anything for them.

The actor continued by saying that he does not support evil or crime against women and children, but he will always use his sense and conscience in every matter.

Speaking further, the filmmaker said that everyone should face the bigger picture, which is the mental health of the minor involved and her guardians instead of engaging in needless drama of distraction.
