In a video which she shared on her Instagram page, she specifically addressed her colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry and blasted those defending the actor.
Iyabo noted that she had seen posts from her colleagues on social media defending Baba Ijesha and urged them to stop.
She said that when people rush to defend prominent or popular people, it is hard for victims to speak up or come out.
The actress continued by saying that he was set up for evidence, and he fell for it because that is who he is, and judging him would not change anything.
Speaking further, Ojo said that while everyone is waiting for the court case and judgment, people shouldn't demand to see the CCTV footage on social media seeing as a minor was involved.
Reiterating that she is a mother, Iyabo revealed that she would never condone rubbish and would speak out against people who have been defending the actor.
To buttress her point, she said that if she or any of her biological/ foster kids are caught in the terrible act, they would face the full wrath of the law.
She lastly noted that she has nothing against Baba Ijesha, but she will always stand on the side of truth.
She captioned the post with:
"Please let's be mindful in my industry, this is a very sensitive issue & we should all remember that a 14years old child is involved. She is watching the Internet, if you can't support or help her don't hurt her the more. Thank You."
