Zimbabwean international Marshall Munetsi had opened the scoring for Wolves midway through the first half as the home team took a one-goal lead into the break.
Everton made efforts to equalise, but somehow they could not find the back of the net before substitute Arokodare settled the game with a fine strike, as it ended 2-0.
After the game, Arokodare took to social media to taunt his critics as he was captured giving the 'Shoki' vibe.
'Shoki' is a breakout Nigerian Afrobeats sound that was in the trends about a decade ago, where dancers throw their hands pointing directly in front.
Wolves completed the signing of the lanky Nigerian forward on the transfer deadline day for a fee of around £24million.
The BBC reports that he put pen to paper on a four-year deal that would see him remain at Molineux until 2029.
Wolves have been awful in the Premier League as they are yet to register a point after five matches played so far, leaving them at the bottom of the table.
Arokodare, who registered 21 league goals in Belgium last season and won the Golden Boot, was signed to bolster the attack of the English club.
Upon his arrival at the club, the 6 ft 6 tall forward said via the club's website:
"It feels amazing. It did take a while, but I'm here finally, and I'm happy to be here. I didn't need convincing.
"I know the history of the club and the players that have been here and how they've progressed to become better players.
"I like the project of the club, and that's what I want for myself. I want to improve and I want to progress, and help this team.
"I think I'll fit in pretty good. If you, for example, look at the strikers that we have now, we're almost the same profile, so it won’t be difficult for me to adapt.
"You could see how good (Jorgen Strand) Larsen did last season, and I'm just here to help the team."
