He won two trophies in the first season and became a popular figure in the dressing room, earning the nickname “Uncle”, particularly with his bromance with Cole Palmer.
However, despite being the good big brother for his younger teammates, he appears not to be the same off the pitch, which has led to a family controversy.

Lady sues Tosin Adarabioyo for child support
Nadia Messaoud has sued Tosin Adarabioyo for not paying his brother Fisayo’s child support for his two-year-old daughter in an astounding case.
Fisayo and Nadia had a brief relationship between 2019 and 2021, and the lady discovered she was pregnant shortly after they separated, but the Adarabioyo’s brother, who is also a footballer, has allegedly not been responsible.
He was also a former professional footballer and played for multiple clubs in the lower divisions of English football, and last played for Ashton United in 2021.
She won an £11,000 payout against the Chelsea star, whom she claimed funds his brother’s lifestyle, but does not pay child support.
However, she lost her claim when the former Fulham defender hired top lawyers to strike out her case, which prompted her to post a video on her TikTok page detailing the incident.
“Tosin is the biological uncle of my daughter, which is pretty ironic as the Chelsea fans refer to him as uncle Tosin. He is an uncle, but is actually no way practically or financially involved,” she said.

Nadia claimed that Adarabioyo spent more than her £11,000 payout to hire lawyers to strike out her default judgment, putting what he paid lawyers at around £20,000.
She believed it did not make sense to spend more to dismiss her case, when he could have just paid his claim because he is a rich Premier League footballer.

According to The Athletic, he recently bagged a $500,000 bonus for being part of Chelsea’s 2025 FIFA Club World Cup-winning squad in the USA.
