- Super Eagles are set to face a South American team in an international friendly on November 14
- Organisers have set a date when tickets will be sold, and the match will take place in the United States of America
- The three-time AFCON winners have not been impressive during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification series
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have concluded plans to organise an international friendly for the Super Eagles.
This comes on the heels of Nigeria's unimpressive 2026 World Cup qualifiers since they began in 2024.
The Super Eagles' last match against the Bafana Bafana ended in a 1-1 draw at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Nigeria is sitting in third position with 11 points, while South Africa tops the log with 17 points.

Members of Group C are banking on the World football-governing body, FIFA, to sanction South Africa by deducting three points for fielding an ineligible player against Lesotho in the first leg.
Nigeria to face Venezuela
Venezuela will take on Nigeria in an international friendly match on November 14.
According to the Houston Dynamos' official website, the announcement was made at the Shell Energy Stadium in East Downtown on September 10.
The organiser ensured the fans of Houston Dynamo and Dash Season took advantage of the pre-sale window during their football match before the tickets went on sale to the public.
Tickets are currently available for the general public who are interested in seeing the Super Eagles take on La Vinotinto.
In their last encounter in 2012, Super Eagles 3-1 overpowered La Vinotinto with Brown Ideye, Nosa Igiebor and Ogenyi Onazi putting their names on the scoresheet, while Frank Feltscher scored the lone goal for the South American team.
Venezuela will be making a return to the stadium after playing a goalless draw against Guatemala in an international friendly in 2024.
La Vinotinto ended their World Cup qualifying series on September 9, finishing in 8th place with 18 points.
Their last two matches played against Argentina and Colombia ended 3-0 and 6-3, respectively, per BBC.

Chelle's experiment paid off as Wolves' new signing Tolu Arokodare scored his first goal for Nigeria, after Oluwasemilogo Ajayi's inadvertent own goal.
Victor Boniface had a poor game, while Maduka Okoye proved to be outstanding between the goalposts.
