Date and Venue Confirmed for Super Eagles Match vs South American Team in International Friendly
- Super Eagles are set to face a South American team in an international friendly on November 14
- Organisers have set a date when sale of tickets would be sold as the match would take place in the United State of America
- The three-time AFCON winners have not been impressive during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification series
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have concluded plans to organise an international friendly for the Super Eagles.
This comes on the heels of Nigeria's unimpressive 2026 World Cup qualifiers since it began in 2024.
The Super Eagles last match against the Bafana Bafana ended in a 1-1 draw at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Nigeria are sitting in third position with 11 points, while South Africa top the log with 17 points.

Nigeria to face Venezuela
Venezuela will take on Nigeria in an international friendly match on November 14.
According to Houston Dynamos official website, the announcement was made at the Shell Energy Stadium in East Downtown on September 10.
The organiser ensured the fans of Houston Dynamo and Dash Season took advantage of the pre-sale window during their football match before the ticket went on sale to the public.
Tickets are currently available for the general public who are interested to see the Super Eagles take on La Vinotinto.
In their last encounter in 2012, Super Eagles 3-1 overpowered La Vinotinto with Brown Ideye, Nosa Igiebor and Ogenyi Onazi putting their names on the scoresheet, while Frank Feltscher scored the lone goal for the SOuth American team.
Venezuela will be making a return to the stadium again after playing a goalless draw against Guatemala in an international friendly in 2024.

Eric Chelle will be having his second international friendly match since becoming the Super Eagles coach
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) secured an international friendly with Russia, which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Luzhniki Stadium.
Chelle's experiment paid off as Wolves new signing Tolu Arokodare scored his first goal for Nigeria, after Oluwasemilogo Ajayi's inadvertent own goal.
Victor Boniface had a poor game, while Maduka Okoye proved was outstanding between the goalpost.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigeria were crowned champions of the 2025 Unity Cup, held at the G Tech Community in Brentford, London, on Friday evening, May 31.
The Super Eagles defeated the Reggae Boyz 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in regulation time, with Crystal Palace midfielder Uche Chrisantus scored the decisive goal for Nigeria on his debut.
