Despite playing just 30 minutes at Stamford Bridge, the Super Eagles forward still found a way to get on the scores sheet to help cut down his side's deficit in the 76th minute.

However, they were unable to complete the dramatic comeback before the final whistle and now, they have been pushed to fourth position on the table with their last game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile, they must avoid defeat against Spurs to ensure they keep their Champions League qualification as Liverpool are equally breathing down on their next for the fourth position.

The former Manchester City star has now stretched his goals tally to 19 in all competitions so far this campaign - his personal best in his career.
