Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo enjoyed a sumptuous Nigerian meal in faraway Saudi Arabia.

The 31-year-old recently parted ways with the Red Devils after the Premier League outfit refused to extend his stay at Old Trafford.

He has since then joined the Saudi Professional League club Al Shabab on a two-and-a-half-year contract and has scored three goals in seven appearances for them.

The forward who seems to be enjoying life in the middle-east country was spotted eating one of Nigeria's special delicacies - Amala, Gbegiri, and Ewedu in his home over there.

Social media influencer Tunde Ednut shared the video clip of the former EPL star having a feel of home in his base station. He accompanied his post on Instagram with a caption that says:

"My brother, Ighalo Jude on that Amala, Gbegiri ati Ewedu. Abeg, chop life jor... Enjoy yourself. Get more energy to score more goals. Omo, Hunger come catch me now. Wait, this meat no too plenty?"

Ighalo is known for enjoying life when he is not on the field of play as he spent time at the beach shortly after leaving United a few months back.

Gernot Rohr was tempted to bring him back to the national team for the AFCON 2022 qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho last.

Legit.ng earlier reported that ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that no new players would be invited to the national team.

Reports claim that the Franco-German tactician, in a chat with a Lagos-based radio station, insisted that he will make do with the squad that qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations.
