FCT, Abuja - The Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, along with combined personnel of security organisations, have unsealed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s 205 office in the Senate wing.
Legit.ng recalls that Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended for six months after her outburst during a recent Senate plenary session regarding the relocation of her seat.

The suspension follows a confrontation with Akpabio over the reassignment of her seat. She can only have the suspension lifted by submitting a formal apology to the Senate.
With her office now unsealed, Akpoti-Uduaghan can access the National Assembly premises, potentially paving the way for her to resume her legislative duties after her six-month suspension.
As reported by Vanguard, the move to open Natasha’s office before resumption is to enable the Kogi Central lawmaker to be in the hallowed chamber upon resumption on October 7, 2025.
A source disclosed that the decision to grant Natasha access to the National Assembly was taken during the leadership meeting of the Senate on Monday, September 22, 2025.
During the meeting, the Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Abba Moro, PDP, Benue South, was assigned to move the motion for her to apologise, then seconded, and it will be taken.

Court gives verdict on Senate's suspension of Natasha
In a previous story, Legit.ng reported that the Senate was ordered to immediately recall suspended Senator Akpoti Uduaghan from her six-month suspension.
Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja held that the six-month suspension was excessive on the part of the Senate.
According to the ruling, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has the right to sanction any member who errs, but the sanction must not be excessive to the extent of denying constituents the right to be represented
