Adeleke addresses supporters

Earlier in the week, Adeleke drew wide attention during a recent outing when he stopped to interact with a woman selling puff puff in the crowd. The governor, who had been acknowledging cheers from residents, suddenly pointed at the vendor and asked how much the entire tray of pastries on her head cost.

Adeleke paid for the puff-puff, where the people at the rally ate for free. He then promised to offer her a job at the government house. While announcing the fulfilment of his promise, Governor Adeleke disclosed that Adejumo is an NCE holder.

The governor then announced that he had offered her a scholarship up to the master's level, while she would continue to work at the government house.
