Inaugural Slap: Chaos as Ex-Gov Obiano’s Wife, Bianca Ojukwu Engage in Dirty Fight at Soludo’s Inauguration

- Meanwhile, other accounts also claimed that it was Mrs Ojukwu who slapped the former First Lady of Anambra

Awka, Anambra state - Drama ensued on Thursday, March 17, at the inauguration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the governor of Anambra state when wife of outgoing Governor Willie Obiano, Ebelechukwu and Bianca Ojukwu engaged in serious fight at the event.
PM News reported that a NAN correspondent who was at the scene of the event stated that the incident occurred immediately after Soludo took his oath of office.

It was gathered that dignitaries, including Ex-Governor Obiano were already seated when Mrs Obiano stepped in and moved to the front row where the widow of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu was seated and slapped her.
And immediately, both women started engaging themselves in fisticuffs, The Punch also reported, adding that the reason for the clash was yet to be ascertained.

Legit.ng gathers that the action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Mrs Obiano off the hold of Bianca who was visibly shocked at the action.
Mrs Obiano was later taken away and shortly afterwards, her husband left the venue since the incident happened after the new governor had been sworn in.
In its version of the report, The Nation stated that Obiano’s wife confronted Bianca, accusing her of not wanting her husband to be governor while calling her a bitch.
Contrary to the previous reports, the newspaper stated that it was Mrs Ojukwu who stood up and slapped Mrs Obiano her leading to a fight.
Video clips, however, showed that it was Mrs Obiano who went to where Mrs Ojukwu was sitting to cause the fracas.
Obiano's aide, Victor Umeh in heated battle over Anambra senatorial ticket
In another report, with the elections in sight, Uzuegbunam Okagbue, an aide of the outgoing ex-Governor Obiano is in a heated battle with Senator Victor Umeh.
The duo is in a battle for the All Grand Progressive Alliance (APGA) senatorial ticket.
It was gathered that Okagbue who worked as a chief protocol officer to Obiano had challenged Umeh on his aspiration to head for the Anambra central senatorial district seat.
